Bushwhacked
The Bushwhacker was invented in the US Virgin Islands in the 1970s, and makes a delectable dessert cocktail (or afternoon treat)!
The original recipe calls for a blender… and we decided that we wanted our cocktail, and we wanted it now! So we’ve modified the method a bit to make this easy to sip over ice without breaking out any major equipment.
INGREDIENTS
1 oz Big Five Cafecito
1 oz Big Five Coconut Rum
1 oz creme de cacao
2 oz whole milk
METHOD
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake. Pour over fresh ice (we love a dramatic large ice cube) in a rocks glass.
GARNISH
Garnish with cocoa powder to serve
