Grapefruit Daiquiri Spritz

Often, when people think of a daiquiri, they think of the frozen drinks that you can get at beach bars, but a classic daiquiri is more refined, and is best served in a tall cocktail glass.

We stumbled across a recipe for a grapefruit daiquiri from vinepair, and wanted to bring the flavors of classic cocktail together with seltzer for a modern (and refreshing) spritz featuring Big Five Silver Rum!

INGREDIENTS

1.5 oz Big Five Silver Rum
1 oz grapefruit juice
1/2 oz lime juice
1/4 oz agave syrup

seltzer

METHOD
Combine rum, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave syrup in a shaker with ice, shake to make a daiquiri. Pour about 3/4 glass seltzer over crushed ice (if you’re feeling fancy) and pour daiquiri over seltzer. Stir and enjoy!
